Enchanted Holidays / About Us

Dominic and Kathy Cocozza in Madonna di CampiglioOur journey

We always dreamt of running a ski holiday business but for years were frustrated by the sheer number of potential competitors.

It was obvious to us that with so many Alpine resorts, generally served by a multitude of holiday providers, logically they could only have loose ties and limited resort knowledge at the very best.

Then we had our eureka moment – pick one resort and specialise exclusively, but which resort and why? We decided it must exude an air of style whilst being casual and comfortable.

We had skied in Madonna di Campiglio several times, and had fallen hook, line and sinker. It was pretty much unknown in the UK and was authentically Italian, presenting itself as a clean canvas.

As a bonus, it was also renowned as Italy’s premier ski resort with long seasons and great snow conditions, known as the pearl of the Dolomites. It was a no brainer, but to take the plunge was a big decision, and would become a huge learning curve.

“It really was a fantastic holiday! Thank you very much for your superb organisation.”

Fifty inexpensive calling cards later, we took a flight, rented a car, drove to Madonna di Campiglio, and began the long road of introductions to hoteliers, ski schools, ski rental providers and just about anybody else who would listen to us, including a very enthusiastic tourist office.

We were pleasantly surprised by everybody’s reaction, and after taking a few deep breaths, Enchanted Holidays was born. Many years later, we have remained true to our ethos, and on our journey have overcome many challenges and made many new friends.

Time is a precious commodity, and we at Enchanted Holidays would like to say thank you for sharing your time with us. Your interest in our services is what drives us to design and produce ski holidays to the highest, exacting standards, in Italy’s premier resort of Madonna di Campiglio.

“I would definitely consider returning to Madonna di Campiglio, and enlisting your help.”
